She has a number of appliances that have broken and not been replaced. J's carers feel that she really needs to replace her fridge freezer, which would save her the money she is presently spending on ready meals and take-aways, and also help her have a more healthy diet. However, J has not got the money to replace the appliance.

A, who has two children aged six and four, has asked for support because her children's beds were damaged by a recent flood and the mattresses are now riddled with damp and mould. A is finding it difficult to replace the beds as she is struggling financially.
