£0 remaining for a fridge freezer
J, who lives alone and has severe mental health problems which prevent her from working, has carers who call in and help her, but she is not proficient in looking after her money or her house. She has a number of appliances that have broken and not been replaced. J's carers feel that she really needs to replace her fridge freezer, which would save her the money she is presently spending on ready meals and take-aways, and also help her have a more healthy diet. However, J has not got the money to replace the appliance.
Mum, dad and their son were homeless for three months. Mum lost her live-in job through constructive dismissal. They now have a house, but there are no carpets. Mum now has a job but is on a low wage and is costing her £50 per week to get to work. Her husband cannot work due to COP (cryptogenic organizing pneumonia) and other health issues. They have applied for benefits and are paying off debts by an arrangement. We are providing food bank support. We can provide carpets free of charge, but need to fund the fitting charges. With your kind donations, we wish to help.
RA, the mom in a family of five in Wolverhampton, has recently got in touch with the St Vincent de Paul centre for help with clothing. The family hasn't been able to find anything suitable for their needs at local clothing banks or through local appeals. These Kurdish asylum seekers, with children aged thirteen, seven and six, have have very little money to spend on essentials. We want to be able to purchase clothing - especially as they have little in the way of winter clothing. Thank you for any support you can give.
This mother of four moved to our town in December after leaving a women's refuge. While her family and friends have managed to secure beds for the four children, mum herself has been sleeping on the floor. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we have sourced a bed frame, but she still needs a mattress. We are appealing for £100 to help purchase this essential item. Your donation will make a world of difference, ensuring J has a proper place to rest after caring for her family.
