£0 remaining for a washing machine
This man has been living in his car for six months, but has now been allocated an unfurnished housing association property. Due to stress and other health issues, he cannot work at present so receives Universal Credit. He really needs a washing machine as there is no launderette in his village. With your help we can provide a second-hand machine with a six month warranty. Thank you.
R, who is struggling with debts that she cannot possibly pay back, is on a zero hours contract and has unreliable hours and income. She has sought help from Citizens Advice and is hoping they will help find the best debt solution and support her through the process. This, however, takes time and she is finding it impossible to afford food and essentials after all her bills are paid. Please would you consider helping this lady with a supermarket voucher to help her get by? Thank you so much.
M is a single lady who has significant health and mobility issues. She has no family or friends, as she is isolated in her flat with no support apart from statutory services. M's washing machine has irreparably broken and she desperately needs a new one as she cannot access a launderette and has no means of washing her clothes apart from hand washing them. M, who is dependent on benefits, has no savings to purchase a washing machine and this situation is significantly increasing her anxiety.
S is working hard to manage her monthly budget and pay into her CAP (Christians Against Poverty) plan to pay off her debt. Her son, who is in his thirties and has learning disabilities, moved out of home just before Christmas, into a caravan on a local farm. He has had a job at the farm for several years and is trying to be independent. S has helped her son out with extra costs, including a deposit for the caravan and moving costs. Two bottle of gas are needed for heating and cooking at a cost of £89 each.
