£0 remaining for a twelve week adult bus pass
DFS and her husband have three children. They are Syrian Kurdish Asylum seekers who are currently living in a city centre hotel. The eldest son is six years old and needs to take the bus to school as it is too far to walk. Due to his age, he needs a parent to take the bus with him. The family do not have the ASPEN card yet and cannot afford the bus fare. This request is to cover the cost of the bus pass for the husband to accompany his son on the bus for the next few months.
Mum is a survivor of Domestic Violence and cares for a 13-year-old and a 20 year old who is at university. She was homeless for 2 years; 1.5 years ago she was provided with a home, but she had to take out a loan for carpets and decorating. She receives Universal Credit but the household outgoings exceed her income and we are providing Food Bank support. Their TV is broken and needs replacing. With your kind donations we want to help.
This lady, who is a single parent caring for two toddlers, struggles financially due to outstanding bills, and relies on benefits. She has escaped domestic violence and there is an ongoing court case regarding this. We have provided Food Bank support to help. Mum needs a child’s mattress and two stairgates and, with your kind donations, we want to help.
This single mum is a full-time carer for three children under the age of thirteen, including a son who is autistic. They have been living in a poorly maintained house for the past twelve months, following a relationship breakdown. They need carpets for the stairs, landing and two bedrooms to make their home warm and comfortable. Mum receives benefits, but is unable to afford carpets. We can provide carpets free of charge, but need to fund the fitting charges. With your kind donations, we wish to help.
