£0 remaining for a washing machine
J is a single lady who is estranged from her abusive and exploitative family, so she has no support emotionally or financially. J has many health issues and cannot work or go out of the flat. J is dependent on benefits but has no savings to purchase a much needed washing machine as her current one is irreparably broken. Her health conditions necessitate daily washing of clothes and bedding so a washing machine is vital to her. Any support is appreciated.
O and her husband have two young children. Their lives were devastated last year when O was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She also has severe diabetes, causing chronic fatigue. She had to leave work, and her husband became her full-time carer. The family now relies on benefits and help from the food bank. O's life saving surgery has been delayed four times due to uncontrolled diabetes. She must follow a specialised eight week plan costing £50 plus per week, but they simply cannot afford it.
A is a single gentleman who until recently was homeless, but he is now in a 'wet' house for homeless men. He is in receipt of Universal Credit and has recently applied for other benefits, for which he is awaiting the outcome. In the meantime, A is struggling to buy food and eat proper meals. Help with this would be much appreciated by him whilst he waits for the decision on his benefits claim, and can get his life back on track. Thank you.
E is a single mum with two dependant children who suffers from severe anxiety and depression, brought on after being attacked. This means that she has found it difficult to deal with her finances and has got into debt. E is only in receipt of benefits as she is not working due to her many health problems. She is hoping to apply for a Debt Relief Order which will enable her to start afresh with her children. In the meantime, E would appreciate help to buy food and essentials for herself and her children. Thank you.
