£0 remaining for carpet fitting
T, who is moving into her first home with her son, who is a toddler, is also currently pregnant. She is working part-time, but struggles with hours due to childcare. Mum's main income is from Universal Credit and she has no savings. The house they are moving into is not carpeted and T urgently needs to put floor coverings down. Any help offered with the cost of carpet fitting would be amazing.
K would appreciate help towards the cost of a new freezer, following her current one breaking down, so she can store food for her family of five. K has a disability that affects her mobility, making standing for too long difficult, so storing food in the freezer is more accessible then cooking from fresh every day. K relies on benefits which makes it very hard to save for large appliances and she needs some support to acquire such items.
J had a stroke, seizure and a bleed on the brain which meant she had to leave her job as she is now unable to work. J has had to move to a bungalow as she can't manage the stairs. The new house is not carpeted and she is not in a position to afford carpets with everything that has happened to her, plus her low income with no savings. We can help J carpet the house for free, but we need a little help with the cost of fitting and are hoping that some kind donors will come to our rescue!!
