£0 remaining for a king size mattress
This lady has moved into a new property, but is only receiving Universal Credit Younger Person's Rate. She has been supported to obtain most of the items needed for her new property, but is struggling to afford a king size mattress for her bed. Please would you consider helping her?
R is a single mum who is working full-time, but struggling to make ends meet. Her rent is high and so are her energy bills. She has no carpets down and this is pushing up her heating costs unnecessarily. Due to her low income and lack of savings, R can't afford carpets. Carpets down, that we can supply free of charge, would be huge for her. If you can help with fitting costs that would just amazing.
J, who has had to leave his home of forty years, due to unforeseen circumstances, has found himself in emergency accommodation. He has no belongings and a low income which means he can't afford to purchase much. A fridge freezer would mean that he could store fresh food, rather than living out of tins, which would mean he could eat more healthily and make a huge difference as he tries to rebuild his life.
R recently moved into a flat, having been homeless since getting out of prison. He is getting lots of support and trying to build his home whilst looking for employment, but living on basic benefits now. R is also hoping to see his four children again soon. He really needs white goods at the moment to be able to manage independently, and £185 for a fridge freezer would really help him start to feel like he has a home and doesn't have to live buying food each day. Please could we help?
