£150 remaining for a bed
This client suffers from learning disabilities and has been brought up in Foster Care. She is vulnerable to being taken advantage of, has been a victim of domestic violence in the past and has an appointee to assist with financial matters. She has been homeless, but has recently been offered an unfurnished flat. Your assistance towards the cost of a bed would be most appreciated, as she is in receipt of Employment and Support Allowance and has no spare income. Thank you!

This seventy two year old client lives alone and is struggling to manage financially on her State Retirement Pension. She suffers from diabetes, a heart condition, back pain and hypertension. This gentleman had a mental breakdown and had a stay in hospital. When he was discharged, he was moved to new accommodation, but it is unfurnished and he does not have a washing machine. The gentleman only receives the basic sickness benefits, as he cannot work, and this leaves him with very little to live off.
