£90 remaining for bedroom and landing carpets
D is a single mum to two children aged six years of age and seven weeks old. Mum recently suffered shocking Domestic Violence and also had her home smashed up. She is desperately trying to replace the broken items. The carpets in the home are all threadbare and she cannot afford to replace them. The new baby is still in hospital as she was born prematurely, due to mum suffering stress. This lovely family are so desperate for our help. Thank you so much!
T is a single mother, living in rented accommodation and currently claiming Universal Credit and Child Benefit. She has been living in her property for the last two years and when she moved in, she was able to get second hand wardrobes for herself and her son, but these are now falling apart. T has another baby on the way (due in early September) and would like a safe place to store the family's clothes, without the fear of the wardrobes collapsing on them.
M has suffered serious mental ill health for years. She was still working, but this became so severe and made worse by being in a violent relationship and needing to flee. As a result, she accumulated debts which she was unable to pay back, as she was then on minimal benefits. M is slowly getting back on her feet and is now working with Christians Against Poverty. We have applied for a Debt Relief Order, so that she can be debt free, but she need the funds to complete the application.
Our client doesn’t have any photo ID and would really like to apply for a passport so that he can use it as proof of ID for work. He would also like to work towards travelling to see family, so having the passport would really help him with that goal.
