£90 remaining for a Debt Relief Order
This lady was initially referred to Warmer Homes West Midlands for help with a current fuel bill. As we talked, she shared that she is struggling financially and cannot afford the fee for a Debt Relief Order which is being supported by StepChange. She has suffered with anxiety and depression since the age of fourteen and is now receiving counselling. She would greatly appreciate your help to start the Debt Relief Order process, as this would enable her to make a fresh start and have a brighter future without significant stress and worry.
This older lady, who is affected by hearing loss and reduced mobility, is a Christians Against Poverty (CAP) client. She is looking for assistance with raising the Debt Relief Order fee because she has very low disposable income. CAP have advised that this is her best route out of debt.
K is a lady whose life has recently become very difficulty. Prior to the Covid 19 pandemic, K and her partner were both Social Workers in the West Midlands, working hard to serve their clients. In September 2021 they both developed Covid within a week of each other and, within six weeks, K's partner had died from the infection. Although recovering from the initial infection, K has now been diagnosed with Long Covid, has been unable to return to work and now; unfortunately, has lost her job. Please can you help her to pay the £90 fee for a Debt Relief Order in order to have a fresh start?
J is working with Christians Against Poverty to manage his finances and make a fresh start. His daughter will transfer to secondary school in September and kitting her out in a new uniform will be a struggle, so help from donors would be gratefully received.
