£90 remaining for a Debt Relief Order
R has five children and her husband is only working part time, as he had a Heart Attack in 2020 and has other ongoing health issues. Their English is very limited. R and her husband have got themselves into debt with their electricity, due to low income and rising costs. They are working with Christians Against Poverty and need a Debt Relief Order each to clear the debt. This is putting a lot of stress on them and having this paid would mean the debt is cleared quickly.
R has severe mental health issues and is being monitored closely. He has been referred to Christians Against Poverty, who are working to help him budget and manage his money. He now engages with a church, both socially and for Sunday worship; however, the cloud of debt and the threat of eviction is exacerbating his mental health state. Having the money for a Debt Relief Order would greatly improve his state of mind and allow him to make a fresh start, which he is so keen to do. Please can you help R?
C is seventy five and has suffered several stokes over the years, which severely impact his speech, making it very hard for him to be understood. He walks slowly with a walker. Christians Against Poverty have been working with him to help him manage his limited income, but past electricity charges and day care debts have mounted, making it impossible for him to catch up. A Debt Relief Order would allow him to get his head above water again, and enable him to keep on top of the bills as they come in. Please can you help?
