£0 remaining for a divan bed frame
S has requested a single bed frame for her daughter, due to the fact that her current bed and mattress have become damaged because of damp in her flat. She has made a complaint to her Landlord, but nothing has been done. She lives on Universal Credit and, with three other children, cannot afford to buy a new bed. Getting this item will make a lot of difference to her family, and her five year old daughter will be able to sleep comfortably again. Thank you so much!
F is a thirty nine year old single mother with a four year old boy and is nine months pregnant. She is struggling financially and suffers with anxiety and depression. The family have no money to get items for the new baby and mum desperately needs a car seat as this is essential to take the baby home from the hospital. Any help with this would be really appreciated by the family.
D is a single mother with two sons aged eleven and nine years old. Mum works full time in Admin and as a Spanish translator. She has also applied for Universal Credit. They recently moved from temporary accommodation to permanent Social Housing, where there was no furniture or white goods. We have obtained some items for the family, but they still need bunk beds for the boys who have been sleeping on the floor since the end of June. These items would complete their family home.
H has eight children, the youngest, who is six months old, is in hospital with a heart condition and one child is at a special school. Five of them are of school age and two are changing schools this September, meaning H will only have to pick them up from two schools. H and her husband are reliant on benefits and are worried about how to pay for the new uniforms. This money would mean that the children can make a good start at their new school and would take a load off H, who also visits her baby daily.
