£150 remaining for an electric cooker
Our client is a single lady who has no family. She has had bad life experiences which affected her mental health to the point where she was sectioned under the Mental Health Act for a period of time, during which she lost her flat. On discharge from hospital, this lady lived in emergency accommodation, in increasing anxiety, but has now secured a supported flat which is completely unfurnished. Age UK, and the church, have collected essential items for her, but she needs a cooker to feed herself and recover well.
S is a single mum doing a great job bringing up her two children. Unfortunately, there was a fire outside her flat, which led to lots of smoke damage in the flat, ruining many possessions and the complete loss of items, including the children’s shoes and bikes. Finances were desperately tight before this happened. They are dependent on food support so there is nothing spare to replace these much needed items.
Our client is a single guy who was in temporary accommodation. He has been successful in applying for a flat and is looking forward to moving in, but is in need of a cooker which will allow him to be able to cook meals. He is on benefits, receiving Universal Credit, and is being supported by his local Foodbank. Any help you can give towards a cooker would be very gratefully received.
This lady is married with two children and also a carer for her elderly parents. She used to be self employed, as is her husband, but due to injury, cannot work at the moment; therefore, she is on Universal Credit, but is hoping to return to work soon. She is also in receipt of child maintenance, but that will end when her eldest goes to University. Due to all this, this lady is struggling financially and would appreciate your help to enable her to start afresh, concentrate on getting well and returning to work.
