£100 remaining for energy costs and food
This young person came to use via the Care Leaver Service and is staying in twenty four hour Supported Housing. She is doing very well, has settled and got her home looking great; however, is struggling with energy costs and food because of a low income. She is desperate to work, but still applying and hasn't secured anything yet. I feel this money would help with her self esteem and current low mood. Thank you!
Our client, who has children, is struggling to cope as her microwave is no longer working and she relies on it, especially in the school holidays when the children are at home. She is struggling financially, which is having a negative impact on her mental health and self esteem. She recently lost her partner to suicide and this has affected her both emotionally and financially. Please can you help this family?
This family are bereaved by suicide. Both adults receive benefits and are unable to work, due to physical and mental health problems. They are financially struggling, due to the increase in the cost of living which is adding to their stresses and impacting their grief. Please could you help them to buy a new cooker as their current cooker is old and not reliable? Thank you!
Safe Families are supporting a single mum, with a young boy, who have just moved areas, due to being targeted within their previous community. Mum is unable to work, due to the demands of caring for her son, and is struggling financially. The family have limited furniture and places to store their clothes. Providing the family with these drawers would allow them to help make their house a home. Mum is unable to afford to provide these herself due to not working.
