£0 remaining for food and accommodation
This gentleman came to us last year, in need accommodation and support to find employment. St Vincent de Paul (SVP) supported him in preparing for and finding a job. Recently, he has come back to us needing accommodation, as he was evicted from his property and now is sleeping rough. He was informed that he has a bad skin condition and, due to this, needs of a clean environment. SVP supported this gentleman by providing him with Bed and Breakfast accommodation for three nights. We hope that this gentleman can manage to get back on track.
After being released from prison, this gentleman initially stayed in a bail hostel, but had to leave due to violating Covid regulations. He is currently facing homelessness, as he hasn't found permanent housing. This is now affecting his mental heath, as he has stopped taking his medication. We kindly request your help to put this gentleman in a bed and breakfast for four nights whilst we collaborate with partner agencies to organise a more permanent housing option and a mental health solution.
This family is struggling financially with mum's employers not able to give her any work. With only dad's job, debts have accumulated and their nine year old daughter is having to stop doing the hobbies she loves. A recent family bereavement has also meant they are finding it difficult to cope. Mum and dad are unable to afford to fully pay for a school trip for their daughter and are asking for help with this so she can enjoy this experience with her school friends. It would be a real help to them.
Our client has been sofa surfing for eighteen months and recently found himself living in a car, travelling around different car parks. He suffers with mental health problems and recent intervention has meant that he was pushed up the housing options list and has now been placed in a permanent residence. As with many of these homes, they come as a shell and our client is desperate for a cooker so that he can stop using the gas burner he used whilst he was homeless.
