£0 remaining for food, clothing and travel expenses
This applicant is a young Asylum Seeker from Egypt who arrived in the UK in April 2022, unaccompanied. He was street homeless for three months, sleeping in various parks across London. He has just been placed in Home Office initial accommodation, in central London; however, he has no money to buy nutritious food and clothing, or to cover the travel expenses to South London Refugee Association. Please can you help?
Mum works in a pharmacy and dad is no longer able to run his business, due to mental health and physical disabilities. The family lives in North London and is in a massive amount of debt, due to the business failing. They are struggling to afford bills and food, and are working with Christians Against Poverty towards being debt free. They do not have a washing machine so are having to hand wash all their clothes. Donation for a washing machine would be very much appreciated.
B has been rehoused with her two children, having fled domestic violence, and is struggling to cope. Her flat is unfurnished and she needs a fridge so that she can shop and cook fresh food for the family. B would very much appreciate your help.
S is a homeless man in his sixties who is sleeping rough and has struggled over a long time with having no status in the UK. We are supporting him with getting accommodation and regularising his affairs. In the meantime, he needs help staying safe and warm at night. Please would you donate to help S buy a sleeping bag, mat and pillow that will give him a little bit of comfort and stability while we help him to get things sorted?
