£0 remaining for a fridge freezer
C, a mother of two children, is struggling to make ends meet with the increased cost of living, and both her fridge and washing machine dying at the same time! Obviously, a fridge is more vital than ever in the warmer weather, but she can't afford to buy one. Please can you help?
Our client, a single parent with two teenage children, has mental health struggles. Mum heavily relies on her fridge freezer so she can buy and store reduced foods from the supermarket, but also so she can batch cook and freeze meals for her hungry teenagers. Mum is on Universal Credit and her fridge freezer broke recently. She is still using the fridge part as a larder, but now the food can't be kept for long.
J and her partner are clients from the food bank. J's partner has Parkinson's disease and has carers and nurses out to help care for him three times a day, which they fund themselves. For this reason, money is very tight. Any help to replace their broken fridge freezer would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
W, who has a personality disorder, has recently come out of prison and is experiencing a mental health crisis. He was trying to arrange a mutual exchange which was all going ahead until the last minute, but he had sold the larger items. W is currently not receiving any benefits as he has to apply again, following his release. We are requesting £200 for a second-hand sofa, wardrobe and storage furniture.
