£100 remaining for food and travel costs
J, our amazing volunteer, collects and delivers food to people in need, supporting the needs of the Social Supermarket when required and often working late into the night to ensure surplus stock is collected. Never wanting to let anyone down, J called on Monday to say that he was running late as he ran out of petrol and had no money, so he walked thirteen miles, taking three hours, so as not to let us down. Too embarrassed to ask for help, J's money went on fuel arrears and left him short. Please can we support him?

This gentleman is single and currently homeless, but is hoping to get a property via Homechoice soon with his father. He was working up until November, but due to ill health is now on Universal Credit. Because to all this he is struggling financially and has asked for help doing a Debt Relief Order (DRO), but as he has no funds, cannot afford the DRO fee. Help for this would be greatly appreciated, as being debt free would turn his life around for the better.
