£0 remaining for food and travel costs
J, our amazing volunteer, collects and delivers food to people in need, supporting the needs of the Social Supermarket when required and often working late into the night to ensure surplus stock is collected. Never wanting to let anyone down, J called on Monday to say that he was running late as he ran out of petrol and had no money, so he walked thirteen miles, taking three hours, so as not to let us down. Too embarrassed to ask for help, J's money went on fuel arrears and left him short. Please can we support him?
This gentleman recently moved into temporary accommodation and is being helped to look for a permanent home. He is waiting for benefits to catch up, so is struggling to make ends meet. His old mobile phone is not capable of being used to communicate with the benefits service, and he has a water bill he can't meet. This gentleman's clothes are all too large for him, as he lost a great deal of weight when homeless. Please can you help him?

This lady is a young mum who was severely affected when her washing machine broke down, following an ongoing struggle to meet her basic bills. Unfortunately, it cannot be repaired. Mum had to move in with her partner's mum, and the stress of being away from her own home made her mental health take a dip. A new machine would restore mum's independence, allowing her to look after her baby and keep him clean and safe. Please can you help her?
