£0 remaining for household items
This family lost their property and all of their possessions in a fire due to the recent unprecedented heatwave. This is a single parent with 3 children. Their property is to be demolished this week. They are being re-housed and receiving support from their local council as they try to come to terms with their things being destroyed. Many household items are needed as well as bedding for the three children and Mum. Any funds would be appreciated.
G rents a house, but has no floor coverings in any of the upstairs rooms. He's finding it really hard to keep his home warm and free of damp. His only income is Universal Credit and he has no savings. G's ex-partner will not allow his children to visit because she doesn't think the house is safe. Please can you help us bring this family back together by supporting with the fitting cost of carpets?
L lives with her nineteen year old son in a two bedroomed flat. She has recently migrated on to Universal Credit and works part-time, but her income is low and she has no savings. L has lived in her home since July last year and has no floor coverings down. She feels that she will never be in a position to be able to afford carpets. We have an offer of free flooring, but just need help with the fitting costs. Any support offered would be amazing!
B is an elderly lady who was widowed two years ago, and her only income is state pension. She has recently moved into sheltered accommodation, provided by the council, but there are no floor coverings down anywhere. B's home is cold and expensive to heat. We have an offer of free carpets, but just need to pay for the fitting costs. Any help would be amazing.
