£0 remaining for increased gas bills
G is struggling to make ends meet after losing his stable, long term job, due to a severe mental health crisis which was triggered by his marriage breaking down. He is struggling to come to terms with not being able to live with, or provide for, his three children. His benefits do not cover even his basic costs of living. G can see some hope in the long term, now that he has been brave enough to reach out for help, but still needs some practical support in the shorter term to maintain this positivity. Please can you help him to pay for his gas bill so that he can cook and have hot water?
This couple, who have been together for over nineteen years, have saved up to get married. £150 will go towards the essential wedding cost in the chapel. This is the third time they have attempted to organise a wedding, but due to lack of funds etc., it hasn’t happened. They are registered disabled so are a low income family. Any help would be very gratefully received.
M, who has been homeless for a long time, has finally got a place to call home. He has a single bed, which was gifted, but no bedding. He has no kitchen items, except a fridge which was already there when he moved in. M is waiting for his benefits to be arranged and is relying on food banks and friends to feed him. He has been given clothing donated by church, which he is using as bedding. Please can you help?
This single mum and her three boys have fled domestic abuse. The family has been given a house by the local housing association and can finally leave the shelter. There is nothing in the property and we have been able to source lots of furniture and flooring, but there is currently no cooker. Mum has bought two plug-in hobs from a charity shop, but needs a cooker for family meals.
