£0 remaining for a laptop
This person is an Asylum Seeker fleeing persecution. He receives only £8.05 per week and would like a laptop to help him keep up to date with technology, study English and find information. He used to be a Mechanic and Electrician and wants to retrain to do the same in the UK. A laptop would be really useful.
IK is an asylum seeker living in a hotel with her husband and three children, aged four, two and ten months old. The benefit they receive is £8.00 weekly each, which is greatly inadequate for their needs. One child suffers from eczema and another is grossly underweight and has mental health problems. IK needs your help to buy food, clothes and basic essentials. Please can you help her change her life? Thank you.
S has recently had his asylum claim refused and is no longer supported by the Home Office. Whilst he is challenging the decisions, he has no access to any funds and is not allowed to work. S is struggling financially and needs money for basics such as food (£ 20 per week), clothes, phone data and travelling to appointments (£ 15 per week)
M is awaiting a fresh asylum claim and, after sleeping rough, has recently moved into a hosting project which is the other side of London to where he used to be. The travel costs to get to his old gym are far too much, so he can no longer get there. His anxiety is incredibly high at the moment and he is barely leaving his room for days. M's one request is that he can access a nearby gym to exercise and help lift his mood during a very turbulent time.
