£0 remaining for a large, four drawer chest of drawers
J is being rehoused into her own home after having lived in a hostel through which she has been given time to get back on her feet, after a period of homelessness. She was thrown out of her home by her previous partner and had to flee with virtually nothing. Your assistance in providing a large chest of drawers to help furnish her new home would be immensely appreciated.
This request is for a husband and wife who are severely disabled and constantly visiting hospital. The wife has a special electric bed that constantly moves her around to save bed sores and other medical problems, and uses a lot of electricity, therefore, their electric bills are very high. We have been helping with their bills and providing food parcels weekly. The flooding of their clothes has been the final problem that they need help with.
C has poor health, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes. He is struggling with cost of living at the moment, as he relies on his pension. C's cooker has broken and it is not economic to repair it. He would really appreciate your support in purchasing a replacement. Many thanks.
C was previously homeless, but has now moved into a permanent flat, so she is having to start from scratch, and we have helped supply some of her furniture. She receives disability benefits. Her only way to cook, at the moment, is with a slow cooker which her friend gave her. C would really appreciate your support in purchasing a cooker. Many thanks.
