£0 remaining for a microwave
K has been in an abusive relationship and found the strength to leave when a Claire’s Law Disclosure was read to her. She is now recovering in emergency accommodation, but cannot cook herself any food and is in urgent need of a microwave. I know K will be very grateful to you for any assistance you are kind enough to give. Thank you!
Our client has just moved into a flat after being in emergency accommodation, with her three children. She has discovered an infestation at the new flat and her and the children have nasty bites all over them. The client has washed everyone's bedding on a hot wash, but they are all still being bitten. Mum has reported this to council, but they are not helping and she is having to spend a lot on fumigation sprays. Our client is a single parent on Universal Credit who would like help replacing their bedding.
A rental company removed our client's washing machine as they were no longer providing this facility. A lives off Universal Credit and is a regular at our community café. He shared how he is having to make a choice of whether to buy food or wash clothes. Having no clean clothes is having a negative effect on his mental health, as A does not feel he is able to go out and feels judged when he does go out in his dirty clothes.
Our client, a single parent with two teenage children, has mental health struggles. Mum heavily relies on her fridge freezer so she can buy and store reduced foods from the supermarket, but also so she can batch cook and freeze meals for her hungry teenagers. Mum is on Universal Credit and her fridge freezer broke recently. She is still using the fridge part as a larder, but now the food can't be kept for long.
