£0 remaining for a second hand cooker
This lady and her son have had to relocate urgently, due to anti-social behaviour and abuse from her neighbours. The lady's son is Autistic, and she is trying to cook on a camper stove. Her son is obsessed with fire, making it highly dangerous to try to cook in this way. She is struggling with her own health, and having gas canisters in the house is causing her great anxiety. She cannot turn her back on her son for a second, as he finds it hard to contain his urges to "play with fire".
N is a lady in her mid forties who has a number of health issues, meaning that her and her two daughters have to survive on benefits. The health issues involve M.E (chronic fatigue syndrome) and muscle and joint pain in her back, which is made worse by the poor quality mattress she has to sleep on. N and her daughters are in temporary accommodation at the moment, and a memory foam orthopaedic mattress topper would enable N to take it with them when they move to a permanent address.
J is a mum of four children, including a baby. The family are living in a property which is not suitable for their needs. The eldest daughter has autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and mum is unable to work because of this. She struggles with low mood and finds it difficult to keep the home clean. The family's hoover recently stopped working and a replacement will help J to provide her family with a clean home, and help her feel in control of her home. This will positively impact her mental wellbeing.
E, a single mum with a four year old son, is in the process of being diagnosed with Autism. She looks after her son full-time and, due to his high level of need, is unable to work. The family are in need of a new fridge freezer, as their current one is old and no longer works properly. Mum relies on benefits and doesn't have any spare money to buy a replacement. E would love some help to be able to purchase this much needed kitchen appliance.
