£0 remaining for school shoes and PE trainers
E, a single parent of four children, one of whom is in receipt of Disability Living Allowance, is supported by the local Foodbank. She is faced with large childcare bills, fuel costs and Council Tax rises. Last month she came down with shingles and wasn’t able to go to work. Due to that, her employer has deducted a third off her monthly wages. With the new school term coming up, there are four lots of uniforms to buy, as well as school shoes. £130 should buy school shoes and trainers for PE.
This request is for a single mum of four children whose washing machine has broken beyond repair and she is in need of a replacement. Mum is living on Universal Credit and has no funds to replace the washing machine, so has been trying to use friends' washing machines, but this is really unsustainable. Mum struggles with mental health issues so this is making her mental health much worse. She would be very grateful for any support towards a new washing machine.
This single mum has mental health issues, due to a traumatic childhood, but has a lovely five year old son and they are both a great team. However, as money is very short, she has very bravely requested family support and they are progressing well with professional help. Mum needs a washing machine and, with your kind donations, we want to help.
E is a single parent of a three year old who is looking for work, but it is proving hard to find locally. They have recently been provided with a small flat and there are many needs. Mum currently has newspaper at the windows and would like to put blinds up to make her house feel more like a home.
