£0 remaining for school uniforms
N, a single lady with two teenagers, is in need of new school uniforms. She is really struggling on such a low income and unable to buy her children all they need. Please would you consider helping this lovely lady and her children to have what they need?
Our client, J, was homeless and is now housed in a small flat. The living room has a bare concrete floor and they need a carpet for this, but are struggling to afford it. At the moment, they cannot work because they have mental health issues, and are having to manage on Personal Independence Payment and incapacity benefits. Having a decent carpet in the living room would make their flat feel much more like a home.
This couple have just moved into a new flat, but have very little furniture. The lady is six months pregnant so needs something comfortable to sit on. They are due to receive a bed soon from Carezone, a local Christian run second-hand furniture store. They receive Universal Credit, but have no spare money to buy armchairs. Please would you help them to make their flat more comfortable, especially as they prepare for the baby's arrival? Thank you.
V is a single person who is living alone, trying to manage on benefits and has no savings. His fridge, which is old, broke several months ago and is beyond repair. He has managed in the winter, but is very worried about the warmer weather coming. V cannot afford to throw away food and needs to be able to store cooked food and left overs for the next day, including milk and other fresh items safely. Any contribution to this much needs fridge would be gratefully received. Thank you.
