£0 remaining for a washing machine
This lady is a single mum on a low income. She has recently moved into a Council House and is managing to get the items she needs, gradually. Her most pressing need is for a washing machine, but she has no means of saving enough money to buy one. Your help would be so gratefully received.
L lives with her nineteen year old son in a two bedroomed flat. She has recently migrated on to Universal Credit and works part-time, but her income is low and she has no savings. L has lived in her home since July last year and has no floor coverings down. She feels that she will never be in a position to be able to afford carpets. We have an offer of free flooring, but just need help with the fitting costs. Any support offered would be amazing!
B is an elderly lady who was widowed two years ago, and her only income is state pension. She has recently moved into sheltered accommodation, provided by the council, but there are no floor coverings down anywhere. B's home is cold and expensive to heat. We have an offer of free carpets, but just need to pay for the fitting costs. Any help would be amazing.
N has severe mental health issues as well as epilepsy, and is struggling to attend his Job Centre appointments, as the anxiety is crippling him. He has been sanctioned, as a result of this, for a few months and is without any income. We are helping him practically, but he has no money for a laundrette and it would make so much difference to him if we were able to get him a washing machine. Please could you help us with this? Thank you!
