£125 remaining for a washing machine
K, a single parent with a teenage daughter, suffers with anxiety and depression, following a very abusive relationship with the father of her child. She has been in a Refuge and has a restraining order against her ex-partner, but he continues to stalk and intimidate K and her daughter. Mum is unable to work because of this and is on benefits. Her washing machine is broken, which has increased her anxiety as she is unable to replace it. Please could you help them?
This lady has fled Domestic Violence with her two young children and is in a place of safety to recover. She is waiting for a Universal Credit assessment, is suffering from financial hardship and has had to place her basic furniture into storage, as her place of safety cannot store it. Mum needs to pay for the storage for this month, but cannot afford it and is in despair as to what to do. Please can you help this family?
This lady, who is fleeing domestic violence, is setting up a new home and is essentially starting from nothing. The Foodbank and Storehouse have been able to supply some basic furniture pots and pans, but are unable to provide the gas cooker in its entirety. The Women's institute have also contributed.
