£0 remaining for a washing machine
H, a single mum with three children, has a washing machine that is leaking from the door seal. She has tried to repair it, but there is still a minor leak. The machine only takes a 5kg load and this is not sufficient for three children, one with severe Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder who is awaiting an Autism diagnosis, and a baby due soon. Mum says she can cope, but she is having to do a couple of loads a day which will only get worse once the baby arrives. Any assistance you could give would be gratefully received. Thank you!
This lady is a young mum who was severely affected when her washing machine broke down, following an ongoing struggle to meet her basic bills. Unfortunately, it cannot be repaired. Mum had to move in with her partner's mum, and the stress of being away from her own home made her mental health take a dip. A new machine would restore mum's independence, allowing her to look after her baby and keep him clean and safe. Please can you help her?
This gentleman, who is disabled, is a carer for his son. His health has recently deteriorated, both physically and mentally, and he has had numerous problems to overcome. When his cooker unexpectantly broke down, he was at his wit's end as he did not have the money to replace it and it was so old that it could not be fixed. A new cooker would make the world of difference to father and son, enabling them to get back on track and maintain their self-sufficiency. Can you help him please?
N is a lady in her mid forties who has a number of health issues, meaning that her and her two daughters have to survive on benefits. The health issues involve M.E (chronic fatigue syndrome) and muscle and joint pain in her back, which is made worse by the poor quality mattress she has to sleep on. N and her daughters are in temporary accommodation at the moment, and a memory foam orthopaedic mattress topper would enable N to take it with them when they move to a permanent address.
