Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
B is a single mum of two fleeing domestic violence. Her only income is Universal Credit and she has no savings. Mum has effectively had to start her home again from scratch, which has been a real challenge. The house she is now living in has no floor coverings down, which is far from ideal as her children are very active and there is a risk of injury. We have an offer of free carpets, but need help with the fitting costs. Any financial support would be very gratefully received.
Still £115 left to donate
Total needed £200This single mum is working part-time and in receipt of Universal Credit. She has recently fled domestic violence, where her ex-partner caused £30,000 worth of damage to their property. This lady would like to replace the bed that she previously had, as she tries to restore their life. Mum has been saving up money, but cannot afford the full amount and would appreciate some help.
