Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This lady is a carer for her husband and they are making a fresh start. After living in very poor conditions, the council has now moved them into a more suitable home. However, they are struggling to furnish it and make it into a home suitable for their two very young children. Their most urgent priority is floor covering as none of the rooms have carpet or laminate. A carpet for the sitting room would be a great help for them.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200Our client is a medical student who has been approved by the Education and Training Committee to register with the Health and Care Professions Council and needs help to pay for the registration fee to start his internship. He is not financially buoyant and has no friends or family to support him towards this need. Our client will be happy to accept your kind support because it will allow him to practise his profession and get him prepared for future employability.
