£0 remaining for a washing machine
H has just received temporary accommodation from Birmingham City Council, after spending years in various hostels. She has an eight year old child and is in the process of applying for leave to remain under the immigration service. This is being supported by the local Children's Authority. H has been given a flat which is partially furnished, but does not have a washing machine. We would be really grateful if Acts 435 could fund a washing machine for her.
E is a single mum with four children. One son has special needs, meaning mum has been unable to work and has run up debts. Her son has outgrown his bed and she wants to buy a larger one to make him more comfortable. Please can you help?
K, N and their two children had been living in a two bedroom council flat, however, the flat had not been upkept by the council and was full of mould, and their bed has severe mould damage. With the help of friends, they have managed to move out of this property to a three bedroom property, but they do not have enough money to buy a new bed. Most of the furniture cannot go with them, as it is damaged with mould. This will help give them a fresh start.
