£0 remaining for a bed and bedding
N is fifty four years of age and is a carer for her grown up son, who has autism. Mum is feeling very isolated, as she can barely leave the house, due to being with her son 24/7 because of his behaviour. Recently, N reached out to different charities for help and has been referred to us. During a visit, she told us that her son`s bed and bedding is badly soiled. Mum has no way of replacing the bed, as there is no money left out of the benefits, once all the bills have been paid. Please could you help?
A and his partner have been given a flat after being homeless and are in need of a living room carpet. They have nothing and are waiting for their benefits to be processed. They have no family able to help, as family have disowned them because they are not the same nationality. A few friends have given them some kitchen items. Please can you help them with a carpet?
V, who has fled domestic violence and is expecting her seventh child, has been rehoused. She has managed to get most household items from charity shops and other charities, but has no income spare to buy a carry cot pram that converts into a pushchair, with a rain cover, as she is waiting for her benefits to be processed. This pregnancy was a shock; V thought she was sick because of all the stress and upheaval of being rehoused. She is very house proud and suffering from stress, due to the situation.
This gentleman is 6' 7" tall and is in need of a larger than average mattress. At the moment he is sleeping on the floor, which is affecting his physical and mental health. We have found hi a bed and just need a mattress. We are trying to encourage him through the drop in that we run, but he doesn't have the means to buy this mattress himself. If you are able to help, this gentleman would be very grateful.
