Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
N needs to have official documentation to open a bank account, enabling payment of his benefits and to obtain a provisional driving licence. He has just been moved into permanent accommodation with his partner and baby, and is looking to make a fresh start.
Still £85 left to donate
Total needed £85This mother and daughter have recently been moved from a women's refuge into their own accommodation. A local company has kindly donated carpets for the living room and bedrooms, and this funding is requested to pay for the fitting of the carpets. Having the carpets fitted, and a home of their home, will significantly contribute to their fresh start.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200This young lady is facing eviction from her current hostel, as she has been determined not to be a priority. Complicating matters, she has historical Multiple-agency Public Protection Agencies (MAPPA) conditions that restrict her from residing in properties where individuals under eighteen are present. Unfortunately, our local homelessness charity is unable to provide assistance. Therefore, we are seeking your support in arranging temporary accommodation in a bed and breakfast for four nights while we work towards a more permanent housing solution
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200This young woman, who is pregnant, has recently experienced domestic abuse and had to relocate urgently, due to her ex-partner's behaviour, resulting in financial hardship. Our goal is to provide temporary accommodation for four nights in a bed and breakfast while we collaborate with local domestic violence agencies to secure a more permanent housing arrangement. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
