Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £200We are supporting this individual who recently fled an abusive relationship and has been put into a house. We are helping her get back on her feet, after this traumatic situation, with food parcels and she is working with us to help her with her debt. This individual is on a low income at the moment and does not have a cooker. Please can you consider giving to this need so that we can help this lady with the basic need of a cooker?

Total needed £200This mum, who has three children, is rebuilding her home and life after fleeing domestic abuse. She is an amazing caring Christian who is always looking out for others. Mum set up a community meal and toddler group as well as working part-time and caring for her children. I found out that she hadn't had a fridge freezer for six months as it broke beyond repair and she hasn't been able to afford a new one. It would be wonderful to bless this mum who is such a blessing to many others.

Total needed £200Our client recently moved to the area, fleeing domestic violence. Unfortunately, she wasn't supported during this at all. She had to take out a loan to cover the moving costs. The client is disabled and so needs an orthopaedic mattress, which we are funding through other avenues. Her current bed frame is falling apart and so we would like to get her a new one. To top things off, due to the move her benefits have changed from the previous system to Universal Credit, which has caused a period of time with no money.

Total needed £150I had a chat with this client yesterday and she told me she has some health issues which are being impacted by not having a bed. In fact, she has not had a bed to sleep on for fourteen years, just an old mattress at times. Our client has recently been moved into new accommodation, due to domestic violence, and would love to start afresh with somewhere comfortable to sleep to improve her wellbeing. She is in receipt of Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment, so cannot afford a replacement. Thank you for considering this request.
