M is a young refugee from Eritrea who has been living in a refugee camp in Sudan for most of his life, being raised by other children. His mother is receiving end-of-life care in London and he was recently been able to join her here in Spring 2025. M is now attempting to assimilate and settle here in the UK. He would very much benefit from being able to attend the gym, as this would have a positive impact on his mental health, helping him to cope better with his mother's situation. £150 would fund the gym for three months.

This family of four, with baby on the way, are asylum seekers with very little access to any resources, and are in need of a lounge carpet as the house they have has only floorboards. Mum is suffering from severe depression and is worried about the children hurting themselves on the floors were they play. The family has no relatives to help so would really appreciate your support.

B and his daughter fled his home country and have been granted asylum. They have been living in temporary furnished accommodation, but are now moving into a flat of their own. Having arrived in the country with nothing, and not being allowed to work whilst his asylum claim was assessed, B is struggling to furnish their new home. Your support to buy a washing machine would mean they could look after their limited clothes and bedding without costly and time-consuming trips to the launderette.

D has mental health problems and needs a lot of support with day-to-day living. He has been at risk of losing his home, due to his excessive hoarding, but with support he is beginning to get this under control. The costs of disposing of items and sorting his house out, combined with his low income, mean that he has very little money. D doesn't have a washing machine, which makes keeping clean and presentable very difficult. Your support to buy one would help him to look after himself.

L works with children, but has had to be signed off with endometriosis, which gives her heavy bleeding and she needs the bathroom chair for when she has these episodes. L, who has limited resources and is struggling financially, receives Universal Credit and is applying for Personal Independence Payment. She is also in need of bedding and a fridge.

We are providing Food Bank and Money Advice support for this lady, who suffers from hyperthyroidism and has mental health issues, so that her debts can be sorted out. She does not receive benefits as she is working and plans to start a nursing course shortly. This lady is in need of a reliable bike to get to work, attend appointments etc. and to save on bus fares. N is an asylum seeker who is starting her GSCE level courses at the college in September, including working towards a qualification as a hairdresser. She would benefit greatly from having her own laptop so that she can do her homework, access online information and resources. Thank you so much for helping N with her learning and qualification.

U, who is fleeing domestic violence and relocating to a new town, is homosexual, something that is forbidden in his religion/culture and led to violence from family members. He now has his own flat, but his income is low, he has no savings and, obviously, no family support. The flat is without carpets and we can provide them free of charge, but we need help with the cost of fitting. Praying that our kind donors will support U as he sets up a new home.

A family of two parents and three children had a fire in their flat back in April and they had to leave it and find new accommodation. They did this by renting a house, costing an extra £450 a month, which has put a strain on their finances as only the husband is working at the moment. Their children have been affected by the fire emotionally, especially the eldest girl. They have received a bill from lawyers acting for British Gas, from when they were in the flat, and they need help with it.

A is a single parent to a four year old daughter who was abandoned when she was newborn. He stepped up and has full custody of her. They were previously living in a bedsit but now have been given a two bedroom flat which he is absolutely overjoyed with. A receives Universal Credit and doesn't have much for himself but he desperately needs a wardrobe and chest of drawers for his little girl. Donations towards both these items would be very gratefully received as he sets up his forever home.

We have a family that have always worked and managed their finances but due to a chronic condition mum has become a full time carer for her husband and they are struggling to replace a broken washing machine. Due to the husband's illness a washing machine is an essential need to the family as this lady spends a lot of time hand washing bedding. Having a working washing machine could make a big difference to this lady's daily life.

T lives with six children in a two bedroom flat and has had a number of setbacks lately. The housing provider is fitting a new kitchen, which has led to her having to buy convenience meals which have to be prepared individually. A leak has meant that T has been forced to use dehumidifiers and heating in several rooms, which has led to an increased bill. Mum is struggling a lot to afford this. Can you assist her please?

K has two children in a shared bedroom, the younger of whom has sensory issues and is becoming agitated due to the cramped condition. The health worker advised that a sleeper bed would allow a sensory area underneath his bed so that he has space to regulate when the world gets too much for him. The slats are partially broken on his present bed so a new bed would help him to cope there while mum seeks better housing. Can you help this family please?
