M and her husband, who are from Sudan and are currently awaiting their right to remain, are only in receipt of a £40 Home Office weekly grant. They have six children aged 12 upwards. Their youngest son has autism, which adds to the stress of the situation and affects the whole family. We are requesting support to purchase a laptop as a lot of the children’s homework is requested to be completed online, which they are currently unable to do. This will aid their learning and help them to settle in.

J, who has mental health issues and Autism, does not go out of the house, due to his health issues. J has his food delivered from a supermarket, but has had to throw out all his food, having no spare money to replace both items. This is causing him a lot of anxiety and stress.
