This girl visited our centre with her family. They are currently homeless, as they are fleeing danger and violence in their country. While the council provided housing for the parents and younger siblings, the two older girls were deemed non-vulnerable and received no assistance. We cannot bear to see these girls end up on the streets, especially considering their limited English and the trauma endured. We urgently need your assistance to house this girl in a bed and breakfast for four nights.
This gentleman has reached out to the St Vincent de Paul team and, upon evaluating his situation, we believe he would benefit from a professional psychological consultation and counselling. He is experiencing chronic anxiety and depression, and there has been a noticeable decline in his condition since his last visit. Additionally, this gentleman is battling alcoholism and, while he has made progress by abstaining from alcohol for several months, ongoing support is crucial. We request your help to get him this support.
This young lady sought assistance from the St Vincent de Paul centre, following the cessation of a prolonged domestic violence ordeal. Given the damage incurred during this period, she is in need of a new bed frame and mattress. Additionally, we are collaborating with sister agencies specialising in domestic violence to provide comprehensive assistance. Any support extended to this young lady, during this challenging time, would be greatly appreciated.
Referred to our services by the probation service, this gentleman lacks family support in the area. Having fallen victim to County Lines trafficking, he finds himself in a vulnerable position. The St Vincent de Paul centre has reached out to various agencies to explore ongoing housing solutions. In the interim, we aim to address this gentleman's immediate needs by asking for your help for a four night stay in bed and breakfast. Any assistance offered during this critical period would be greatly appreciated.
