Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This gentleman has reached out to the St Vincent de Paul team and, upon evaluating his situation, we believe he would benefit from a professional psychological consultation and counselling. He is experiencing chronic anxiety and depression, and there has been a noticeable decline in his condition since his last visit. Additionally, this gentleman is battling alcoholism and, while he has made progress by abstaining from alcohol for several months, ongoing support is crucial. We request your help to get him this support.

Total needed £200Following a recent heart attack, three months ago, this gentleman finds himself in need of ongoing assistance. We are urgently requesting a regular food parcel, a kettle and a microwave. Our client was referred to us by Peabody after an outreach encounter where he was soliciting passers-by for food or financial aid. Although he has a flat, this gentleman's health condition prevents him from being able to work. Any support provided during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated.
