Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
Following a recent heart attack, three months ago, this gentleman finds himself in need of ongoing assistance. We are urgently requesting a regular food parcel, a kettle and a microwave. Our client was referred to us by Peabody after an outreach encounter where he was soliciting passers-by for food or financial aid. Although he has a flat, this gentleman's health condition prevents him from being able to work. Any support provided during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated.

Total needed £200C has been referred to us by her Health Visitor, due to her and the children surviving only on benefits and struggling to make ends meet. Mum has a washing machine which is now at the end of it's life. It has been repaired previously, but now the bearings have also gone. C would really appreciate your support in helping to purchase a replacement washing machine. Many thanks.

Total needed £200L and her young son were referred to us by the school. Mum has health issues and receives benefits. She bought a washing machine on Facebook sales, but it broke fairly quickly and she has now been without a washing machine for nearly a year. L cannot always get to a launderette so she tries her best to hand wash items in the bath. Mum would really appreciate your support in helping to purchase a washing machine.
Still £175 left to donate
Total needed £200This family would really benefit from your support. There are seven children in the household, ranging in age from a one year old to a fifteen year old, and mum is currently eight months pregnant. As you might expect, the household finances have been and still are under immense pressure from rent and energy costs etc., along with day to day issue of shoes, clothing and food costs. An air fryer and microwave will at least ensure the children can have a hot meal every day.
