Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
B, who is fifty one years old and is in a domestic violent relationship, has hit rock bottom and cannot see a way out. Her partner has control of her bank card and comes and goes from the home. We are supporting B in finding the strength to get professional help or to leave, and have put her in touch with a women's aid charity. She has no food in the house for herself and no money on her meters for gas and electric. We would like to to-up B's meters to keep her warm and buy a food voucher.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200Please can you help this mum of three boys aged thirteen, ten and three, who has special needs and severe mental health? Her house may be repossessed and she's not got a penny to get food for her and her boys, because of her mentally and physically abusive partner who has a gambling problem. Local people have given some food, as the boys were so hungry. Mum asked if we could get her £200 in vouchers so she can have enough to feed the children for as long as possible, as that is her main priority.
