£0 remaining for a combo trampoline
J is a single mum with one child who is autistic with lower limb dyspraxia syndrome. Mum has been advised to buy a special trampoline that has a swing in it to help her son use his muscles better. However, mum just cannot afford to buy this, as she is on benefits and is stretched to the limit paying bills. J has to keep the heating on, as her son has a low immune system and gets poorly very quickly. Any spare money will go towards the heating. Please can you help?
A and his partner have been given a flat after being homeless and are in need of a living room carpet. They have nothing and are waiting for their benefits to be processed. They have no family able to help, as family have disowned them because they are not the same nationality. A few friends have given them some kitchen items. Please can you help them with a carpet?
V, who has fled domestic violence and is expecting her seventh child, has been rehoused. She has managed to get most household items from charity shops and other charities, but has no income spare to buy a carry cot pram that converts into a pushchair, with a rain cover, as she is waiting for her benefits to be processed. This pregnancy was a shock; V thought she was sick because of all the stress and upheaval of being rehoused. She is very house proud and suffering from stress, due to the situation.
These young parents (mum is nineteen and dad is twenty) have a daughter who is one and a newborn baby. They are receiving support through Social Services, but are in need of pots, pans, kitchen essentials and a kettle. If you are able to help this young family, it would be very much appreciated.
