Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

O is a single mother who has a disabled son and they recently travelled to another city for specialised medical care. While her son is recovering from the surgery, the family is facing financial strain as they solely rely on benefits and most of their resources have been allocated to medical expenses. Your support with electric and gas bills would provide much needed relief to this resilient family, allowing O to focus on her son's recovery without the added burden of financial worry.

Total needed £100A is struggling financially and currently awaiting benefits so has very limited income. We have been able to support the family with a food parcel, but one of the children is autistic and very particular about which foods he will eat. As such, the food parcel we are able to offer is not really suitable for him. This money would allow A to buy the foods he will eat and help until their benefits are paid again.

Total needed £75S is a single mum who is suffering from depression and other health issues, due to having had to endure twelve years of antisocial behaviour from her next-door neighbour. The neighbour was moved recently and S has taken this opportunity to make a new start. This included asking Christians Against Poverty for help with her debts. S would really appreciate your help with buying a new microwave, as hers stopped working a few weeks ago and, with a teenage boy in the house, it is really missed. Any remaining money is for food vouchers.
