£0 remaining for gas, electric and a food voucher
A is twenty eight years of age and is a single mum to three children under the age of twelve. Her youngest baby girl is only one and has been given twelve months to live as she has heart failure. She has had open heart surgery twice, but the leak in her heart is unrepairable. Mum is being as strong as she can, but is back and forth to hospital so she can be with baby whilst her mum looks after the other children. A only receives benefits and has to get taxis to and from the hospital, therefore she is struggling to buy food and pay for her gas and electric.
After fleeing domestic violence, mum and her children had to leave with what they could carry very quickly. The police and Social Services are heavily involved after other family members tried to take the children. Mum has been so strong to keep going and trying to support her children with the upheaval. She has no money and no Christmas decorations at all, as they were all left behind. The children think that Christmas is cancelled, but with your help, we could bring a little joy to them. Thank you so much!
This single mum with five children is on benefits and has been sanctioned because she missed an appointment due to one of the children being poorly. Her washing machine has blown and cannot be repaired. It was a second-hand one and the warranty ran out a month ago. Mum is relying on family to help, but they are struggling themselves and cannot sustain it. Please can you help?
This family is on a low income and one of the children has complex, high risk behaviour. He has a sensory swing fitted to the ceiling in the living room which has become worn and started to snap, and the ceiling is cracking due to his behaviour resulting in kicking the walls and bouncing off them. The wall needs padding to prevent any more harm to himself. Please can you help?
This single mum, who is on a low income and struggling financially, has one child who is autistic. He has constantly soiled his sisters' beds and mattresses on a number of occasions. This has stained the beds and left a lasting smell. Mum has bought mattress protectors, but the smell and stains will not go. This is causing huge stress to our client, who is very house proud. Please can you help?
C, a single mum who became homeless when she left her partner, has two daughters and has not been able to work. She has just been offered a property and received a few items for her new home from friends she has connected with from the temporary accommodation. However, C has not got any furniture for her daughters, and needs a bunk bed and mattresses, a chest of drawers for storage, as at the moment the room is empty, and a bedside lamp for their reading.
