Acts 435 enables you to crowdfund to provide essential items for people in need.
Our mission is to serve churches and local charities who are seeing the impact of poverty and hardship in their communities, and enable them to crowdfund for individuals and families who are struggling to afford items such as a washing machine, a bus pass or school uniform.
Acts 435 is a simple, free, solution to not only meet the everyday needs of individuals, but is also an effective way to bring hope, and share God's love, with those who are struggling with debt, facing hardship or experiencing poverty.
A simple way to give hope.
Acts 435 is a simple way to go that extra mile for those that you're supporting through your CAP Service. You can help individuals and families by posting any request for items that they need. But here are some examples from different CAP services:
A Debt Centre
As you help individuals with their debt plan you may find out that they're struggling with school uniform for their children, they don't have a bed, or their car needs fixing so they can get to work. Their CAP budget can't stretch to this need, and they have no savings. This is where Acts 435 can step in to provide for this one-off need!
Job Club
As you support individuals to apply for jobs, and give them the skills and confidence they may need an identity document, a new suit or work boots. Acts 435 can help them to make a fresh start by providing this item.
Life Skills
As your church provides this community to talk about topics such as healthy eating, mental health and building self-confidence you may begin to build trust with them. These relationships often result in individuals being open about their struggles, including that their cooker is broken, they can't afford to visit family or they've always wanted to attend and art class for their mental wellbeing. Acts 435 can help to provide these needs.
Money Coaching
Money Coaching is so valuable to both those who are just looking for some tips, but also those who are really struggling to balance their finances. Again, these conversations often result in conversations where someone's need can be very apparent. Acts 435 can support with a specific need at the right time to keep their finances on track.

Often, when I am chatting with a CAP client they might talk about how they are struggling to cover car repair costs. We explain that Acts 435 might be able to help with these costs, and it is instantly helpful as the client can see how interested we are in helping them to maintain their income and keep their job.
