Julian Richer - Founding Trustee

Julian is an entrepreneur, and founder of hi-fi retailer Richer Sounds. He founded Acts 435 in 2009, which was his simple but effective idea to help those in need through a web-based platform. Since then Julian has sat as a trustee for Acts 435, and is a very active member of the board. He also works with many other retailers and businesses, as well as other charities.

Peter Warry

Canon Peter Warry was involved in the development of the original pilot for Acts 435, drawing on his experience as Diocesan Secretary and Chief Executive for the Diocese of York. After several years of supporting the early growth of the charity in an advisory capacity, he became a trustee in 2012.

Prior to joining the Diocese in 2006, Peter’s earlier career was in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics and Software Development. He is married to Helen and they have a teenage son. They are all musicians, although Peter leaves most of the performing to the rest of the family, preferring to hide behind a mixing desk when given half a chance.

Jon started his career at a US investment bank, working in technology, before leaving after a few years to join the charity sector. He has managed IT projects and programmes at Christian Aid and the British Red Cross. Before joining CAP in 2014 he headed up planning and reporting at the Red Cross working with the leadership team on charity wide strategy.
