Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

L has been in the UK for seven years, having come as a care student with one child, paid by her father. After five years of temporary residency working in the care sector, she is applying for permanent residency so she can train as a nurse with a student loan. L, who now has three children, has been known to us for all this time and has cared for many of our elderly parishioners. The total cost will be £3760 which she will need a loan for so we are trying to reduce this.
Still £125 left to donate
Total needed £200A mother of four young children age 1 to 9 years is in urgent need of a washing machine. The family joined her student husband some months ago and house shared with her sister. They have just rented an unfurnished terraced house and need white goods and furniture. A washing machine is a priority as she is having to wash clothing by hand, the laundrette being some distance away and expensive. Life is hard as they set up home, but they are incredibly grateful for the help offered.
