Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £120M had been living temporarily with his father, due to a relationship breakdown and suffering from mental health issues, and is unable to work because of his mental health. He has recently moved into a studio flat. His debts are not helping his mental health and he would like to apply for a Debt Relief Order; however, it would take forever to raise the fee. He recently received his Universal Credit and, after paying his bills, is left with £3 to buy food. Please can you help us raise the £90 fee to allow this gentleman to become debt free?

Total needed £90Please can you help this lady who has a long term illness and is physically disabled? Her only income is her benefits. She lives in a ground floor flat and has been a victim of anti social behaviour over the past three years. This has had a considerable impact on her mental health, and her wellbeing is now in crisis. She is so relieved to have found a bungalow to rent in another nearby town, but cannot afford to pay for removals. Thank you for your help!

Total needed £150Safe Families are supporting a dad who really wants to keep his front and back gardens tidy. He struggles with his mobility and has paid a gardener to do this for him, but cannot commit to this cost, as he is on benefits. He wants their garden to be somewhere he and his fourteen year old daughter can spend time in. A light, cordless strimmer will allow him to keep the garden tidy and will hopefully enable him to spend time with his daughter,. creating new positive memories and improving his mental health.

Total needed £60My client has been struggling with depression since the passing of his wife twelve months ago. This has had a devastating impact on himself and his three teenage children. C is struggling financially with the cost of living rising, and is unable to purchase a bed for his daughter, who is currently sleeping on the sofa. I have helped C with a family food parcel and it would be so nice to help him further by getting a bed for his daughter. All support will be greatly appreciated.
