Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

S is a nurse who has come to the UK from India on a sponsored work visa. Like others, she was promised work and accommodation, but this promise has not been fulfilled. S has managed to find work for herself, as a carer, and will take the steps needed to continue her career as a nurse in the UK. She has found an unfurnished flat, and is thankful for the amazing support given her by the community. S would be grateful for help to buy a fridge freezer, as she makes a new home for her family.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150Our client left her family home, due to her husband’s controlling behaviour, which was increasingly becoming worse and was leading towards her having dark thoughts. The only person she knew in the end was her husband and she wanted to take her own life. Our client left her home and now have a flat she is moving into next week with her fifteen year old son. Mum would love to be able to buy some bedding, duvets and kitchen items, such as a microwave and kettle as she only left with a suitcase of clothes.
