Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

R has severe mental health issues and is being monitored closely. He has been referred to Christians Against Poverty, who are working to help him budget and manage his money. He now engages with a church, both socially and for Sunday worship; however, the cloud of debt and the threat of eviction is exacerbating his mental health state. Having the money for a Debt Relief Order would greatly improve his state of mind and allow him to make a fresh start, which he is so keen to do. Please can you help R?

Total needed £90T lives in Bedford, and his circumstances, particularly his relationship breakdown, have meant that he has needed to move several times in quick succession. He now rents one room in shared accommodation and has some work as a Labourer, but his income is very low. All this has resulted in debts he is unable to pay. Being able to apply for a Debt Relief Order would allow him a fresh start, free from the repercussions of his debt, and the worry this is causing.
