August Prayer Bulletin

Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2

It's the summer holidays for children all over the UK, which is a time that many parents dread due to the costs associated with it; trips out, the extra food bills and the cost of school uniform before they return to school.

We ask that you join us in praying for these families for whom the holidays are a struggle. We pray that they can embrace free activities local to them, especially those run by their local church, and that they are able to access help where it's needed.

We also ask that you pray for our partner churches and charities who often take a break during the summer months. Please pray that they will be able to rest, which will give them the energy to continue to serve their communities.

Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:

A new video to encourage churches and local charities to partner with us. Please pray that it reaches the right individuals, and that they would be able to see the value in partnering with us.

A really heart-warming response to the mailshot which went out on 1st August - we saw live requests drop from 200 to just 65 over the course of the weekend!

A mention in Warm Welcome's Impact Report, which highlights why Acts 435 is such a fantastic resource for Warm Welcome Spaces.

The individuals and families who have been helped in July by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, in their local communities, when they needed it most.

Please join us in praying for:

Our School Uniform Appeal, which we hope will be a blessing to many families who are struggling to afford the costs of school uniform and equipment for the new academic year.

Our presence at the Devoted Conference in August, which we hope will encourage both individuals and churches to find out more about our work.

As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.

Best wishes,
